The campsite sits next to working vegetable and corn farms — which is brilliant because you can buy farm-fresh sweetcorn and cherry tomatoes directly from the caretaker. During the day you might spot flies (comes with organic farming), but they're gone by evening. The caretaker proactively hands out fly sticky traps if needed — that's the level of care here. That's the level of management we're talking about. The staff here genuinely care about the place. It shows in everything — from how the toilets are maintained to how they'll go buy chicken wings on their lunch break if you ask nicely enough.

Perfect for families, friend groups doing car camping, and anyone wanting highland weather with real comfort. Bring a full kitchen setup and you've got a solid base. This is about good views, cool air, excellent facilities, and the chance to cook with fresh farm produce — not jungle treks or riverside swims.

Getting There

The address is Lot 182, Mukim Habu, 39200 Ringlet, Pahang. Ringlet is the first main town you hit when you enter Cameron Highlands from the Tapah route — before you reach Brinchang or Tanah Rata. So if you're coming from KL, head up the Karak Highway or the Tapah road (Route 59) up into the highlands. Once you're in Ringlet town, the campsite is in the Habu area nearby. Use the Google Maps CID link to pin it accurately — the address alone might confuse Waze.

The road up to Cameron Highlands is paved but windy. Nothing that requires a 4WD, your regular sedan will be fine. Just don't rush the corners. Cameron roads at night are dark and narrow in parts, so arrive before sundown if you can, especially if it's your first time.

What to Expect

Car camping on flat, open ground — very accessible. Temperatures drop to around 18°C at night, daytime around 24°C. Pack a cool-weather sleeping bag and windbreaker for nighttime. Highland breezes are genuine — bring 30cm tent pegs to keep your flysheet secure; the wind here can be strong at night.
