This is not roughing it. M Glamping by the Sea is a proper glamping setup right on the Melaka Strait in Merlimau — think air-conditioned tents, comfy beds, hot showers, and sea views. The crowd here is mostly friends groups, couples, and families with young kids who want the outdoor feel without giving up comfort. It's private, well-kept, and the hosts — Ivy and her team — are genuinely hands-on. Not the type who just hand you a key and disappear. They check in, they help out, they stay attentive. That alone makes a big difference.

There's also a bunch of activities on-site — bath bomb making, resin coaster workshops, painting sessions. So it's not just sit-and-stare. There's enough to keep a group of adults entertained for a full two days, and definitely enough for kids to go wild on the open grounds.

Getting There

The address is Lot 1333, Jalan Jeti Anjung Batu, 77300 Merlimau, Melaka. Merlimau is a small town along the Muar–Melaka stretch — if you're coming from KL, head down the PLUS highway towards Ayer Keroh, then take the road towards Jasin and Merlimau from there. Google Maps handles this well — just plug in the CID link and it'll take you right to it. The area is flat coastal land, so road access should be fine for regular cars. No 4WD required.

If you're coming from JB side, it's a straightforward drive up through Muar. From the Muar town area, Merlimau is maybe 20–30 minutes away. Not a hard drive at all.
