Getting There

Road into this area is normal tar road — nothing requiring 4WD. The Balik Pulau side does get narrow in places, so drive steady. If you're coming from the Penang Bridge side, budget about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic through town.

What to Expect

This is a fully managed campsite — they provide tents, tables, fans, and extension cords. Bring your own tent if you want to save on cost and just rent the lot. The grounds are well-kept, and there's a cemented hiking trail that goes up the hill for sunrise or sunset views of the sea. It's not a hard hike, more of a morning walk.

The wading pool is open 24 hours, which families with kids will love. There's also a rabbit farm on-site for the little ones.
