Getting There

The campsite is on Jalan Sungai Gabai in Hulu Langat — postal code 43100. If you're coming from KL, head towards Kajang, then take the route towards Hulu Langat. Follow signs for Sungai Gabai, and you'll find it along that road. The Sungai Gabai waterfall area is nearby, so use that as a landmark if you get confused.

Road in is paved and accessible — no 4WD needed. Normal cars are fine. Parking at the site is reportedly ample, so even on weekends you shouldn't be hunting for a spot too long.

What to Expect

The campsite sits right by the river, which is the main draw. The river is described as clear and cool — good for a swim, though one reviewer was honest enough to say it's not the most dramatic river around. Shallow in parts, sandy base, no strong current from what's mentioned. Great for kids splashing around. Don't expect a deep river for serious swimming.
