The crowd here leans family-friendly. No wild party energy, no crowded weekends with strangers packed tent-to-tent. It feels like the kind of site where people come to genuinely relax — baring kaki in the river, masak nasi goreng for dinner, tidur awal. The owners are clearly hands-on and care about the place — multiple reviewers pointed out how well-maintained everything is, which is not something you hear often enough about river campsites in Malaysia.

If you're coming from outside Kedah, this one might not make your top-of-mind list. But if you're already in the northern region or passing through, give it a serious look. It punches above its weight.
