Bachok is about 30–35 minutes from Kota Bharu. Road is paved the whole way, nothing rough. Normal car is fine. Once you're in the Kampung Nelayan area, you're looking for the beach access — follow the coastal road and you'll spot it. It's a fishing village area so expect a bit of that kampung feel on the way in, which honestly adds to the charm.

What to Expect

Big circus tents — the dome-style ones — set up right near the beach. Inside is comfortable. Bedding, space to move around, the works. It's glamping pricing (around RM150 for 4 pax based on recent reviews), so the interior comfort is fair for what you pay.

Outside is a different story. The tables, chairs, and outdoor facilities are basic at best. Don't come expecting a resort setup with proper loungers and a cafe. It's more of a simple, honest beach glamping experience — the kind run by a local operator who puts the effort into the tent interior and lets the beach do the rest of the work.

Crowd level is low. It's not a famous spot, which is exactly why it stays peaceful. This suits families, couples, and anyone who wants a quiet beach night without the chaos of a full resort. Not for the hardcore camper who wants to build a fire and go jungle — this is chill beach mode only.
