You arrive and you think, yeah, this has got something. Chickens, ducks, goats, cats, monkeys — it's almost like a mini farm meets kampung meets campsite. The kind of place that feels unhurried. Good bones, as they say.

It's a solid choice if you come prepared — bring your own gear, plan for basic facilities, and call ahead to confirm staffing. The riverside setting and peaceful vibe are genuinely worth the trip.

It's in Pedas, Negeri Sembilan — about an hour south of KL, close to Rembau. The drive itself is nice, winding through kampung roads with gunung views. That part, everyone agrees on.

Getting There

What to Expect

This is a riverside campsite — the river is close, the water is reportedly clean, and it's shallow enough for kids to play in with supervision. There are trees for shade but not blanket coverage, so afternoon sun can be intense. Arrive early if you want to set up before the heat kicks in.

Leeches after rain are a real thing here — that's just the terrain, not a knock against the site specifically. But be prepared. Salt or a dedicated leech sock helps. The last toilet cubicle in the female block had leeches spotted inside, so that's worth knowing before you make a late-night dash there.

This site is suited for casual campers and families who bring their own gear. If you're thinking of renting equipment here — tent, stove, fan — I'd honestly say reconsider.
