If you showed up expecting to rough it, wrong place lah. But if you want a break from the city without sacrificing sleep quality, this might be exactly what you need.

It's tucked along Jalan Bukit Tinggi in Bentong, Pahang — that cool, slightly elevated area that already feels like a different world the moment you leave the highway. The kind of place where families go to exhale. Couples too. You'll see grandparents, toddlers, young groups — it's that kind of crowd. Relaxed, no agenda, just here to enjoy the trees and the cooler air.

The vibe when you arrive is genuinely chill. There's a common hall where people gather, benches scattered around, a swing, and a small pool. It's not fancy-resort level, but it's tidy and well-maintained. Someone here actually cares about keeping the place nice — you can feel that.

Getting There

The address is Jln Bukit Tinggi, Kampung Bukit Tinggi, 28750 Bentong, Pahang. From KL, head towards Genting Highlands via the Karak Highway (E8), then turn off towards Bukit Tinggi. It's a familiar road if you've ever gone to Berjaya Hills or Colmar Tropicale. The camp is near IKAN Campsite — so if you spot that, you're close. One reviewer confirmed it's just 4 minutes from the Bukit Tinggi markets, so the road is accessible and you don't need a 4WD. Regular cars are fine. Call ahead at 012-299 9338 if you get lost.

What to Expect

This is glamping, so manage expectations accordingly. The tents come with beds, aircon, and clean linen. A few people felt the 4-bed tent was smaller than expected, so don't come in imagining a massive glamping suite. It's cosy, not spacious. That said, the aircon works well — multiple reviewers specifically mentioned it being super cold, which is always a good sign.

There's a small pool on site, which the kids will love. The area is quiet and green, so the surroundings are pleasant. The one consistent disappointment across reviews — the river nearby is dirty and not safe for swimming or fishing. Don't plan your trip around river activities. It's just not viable here.

Toilets & Bathrooms

Shared bathrooms and very well maintained. Toilet paper stocked 24 hours. Staff actively wash the toilets throughout the day. Water heaters are installed but at least one reviewer said theirs didn't heat up properly — worth checking when you arrive. Separate basins outside with hairdryers too.

Swimming Pool

Small pool on site. Kids will enjoy it. Bring your swimwear.

Common Hall

Big, airy, and shaded. Good spot to hang out in the afternoon or after dinner. Could use some games equipment, but it's a comfortable space.

Food

Dinner is included and it's legit generous. One package had marinated lamb chop and chicken chop. Another had steamboat and BBQ sent to your tent with cookware — fully DIY which is part of the fun. Portions are big. Breakfast is pre-packed nasi lemak with coffee or tea. Teatime snacks are not provided, so pack your own. There's a Coway hot and cold water dispenser on site.

Fridge

There's a shared fridge available if you want to stash drinks or a birthday cake when you arrive.

Campfire

Campfire at 9pm with marshmallows to roast. Staff refills the marshmallows without you having to ask — small touch, appreciated.

Also, bring insect repellent specifically for inside the tent — a few reviewers sprayed down the interior before sleeping and had zero bug issues all night.
