Glamping @ Wetland Putrajaya — Pretty on the Outside, Problems on the Inside
The Vibe
Right in the heart of Putrajaya, this glamping spot sits near the famous Putrajaya Wetlands — so yeah, the surroundings look decent on paper. Green, open, got that kampung-ish feel even though you're technically in the federal territory. The kind of place that photographs well and gets shared a lot on Instagram. If you've seen the posts, you get it.

The target crowd is pretty clear — families, corporate groups, couples looking for a quick city escape without driving two hours. There's activities like ATV, flying fox, a fire show at night, and some free stuff for kids. Dinner is kampung-style and honestly, a few people say it's actually decent. On the surface, it sounds like a solid weekend plan — especially if you're in KL and want something easy.
But here's the thing. Under that glossy surface, there are some real issues that have been showing up in reviews for years now. Bed bugs. Mouldy tents. Facilities out of order. Hidden charges. These aren't one-off complaints — multiple reviewers going back a few years are saying the same things. So go in with eyes open, lah.

Getting There
The address is Persiaran Persekutuan, Presint 13, 62300 Putrajaya. Easy enough — Putrajaya is well-connected from KL, about 25–35 minutes via MEX or ELITE highway depending on where you're coming from. Just key in "Glamping Wetland Putrajaya" on Google Maps and it'll take you there without drama.
Road access is fine — no 4WD needed, nothing sketchy. This is Putrajaya, bukan hutan. That said, parking has been flagged as an issue. One reviewer said spaces were insufficient, especially on busier weekends. Arrive early or you'll be parking far and walking in.

What to Expect
This is a managed glamping resort, not a campsite. You're not pitching your own tent — you're assigned a pre-set tent with bedding, and the whole thing is run like a resort package. Meals, activities, check-in, check-out. Think of it less like camping and more like a budget resort with a canvas roof.
The experience really depends on which tent you get. Some are positioned well with tables right outside. Others — like the infamous T7 — are far from everything. Toilets and the BBQ area are not right next to the tents for most guests, so if you're with elderly folk or young kids, that's going to be annoying. The water activities that are advertised? Those are a 12-minute drive away. And yes, extra charges apply.

Activity-wise, the ATV trail is genuinely fun if you go for the adventure track — it's not just point-and-go, you actually have to think a bit. Flying fox is fine but over in seconds. The fire show at night seems to be the highlight that most people actually enjoy. Free activities are mostly for kids — adults who want more will be paying extra at every turn. Budget accordingly.
Facilities
Tents
Pre-set glamping tents, so you're not setting up anything yourself. Quality varies a lot by which unit you're assigned. Some guests report clean and dry conditions. Others found mould, uneven flooring with tripping hazards, ants, lizards, bad smells — and worst of all, multiple reviewers have flagged bed bugs in the mattresses. This is a consistent complaint spanning years, not a one-time thing.
Toilets & Showers
Mixed reports. One reviewer said they were highly clean and dry. Another said they were dirty and required walking uphill — a pain with kids in tow. Seems like it really depends on the day and how busy the place is.
BBQ & Dining Area
Communal BBQ area is available but located away from the tents. Kampung-style dinner is included and gets decent feedback for taste. Breakfast runs from 8am to 9:30am — short window, especially if you're a late riser.
Activities
ATV (RM70 fun ride / RM120 trail), flying fox (RM50), and some free kids' activities on-site. Water activities are offsite — 12 minutes away by car — and come with their own additional fees. Staying guests get 30% off activities, which helps a bit. Some advertised facilities like the treehouse and swings have been reported as out of order.
Parking
On-site but limited. Gets full on busy weekends. No reserved spots, even if you booked a month ahead.

What Campers Are Saying
One group of friends had a genuinely good time — they rated it highly, loved the kampung dinner, said the ATV trail was more challenging than expected (in a good way), and felt the flying fox safety was handled well. They thought the facilities were clean and left happy. So yes, good experiences do happen here.
But a family who stayed in one of the further tents had a completely different story. They made their booking a month in advance, got assigned the worst spot anyway, weren't allowed to eat in the tent while other guests had dining tables right outside theirs, and found the tent dirty with ants and a bad smell. They left by 5:30pm, less than two hours after checking in. That's rough.
The bed bug complaints are the most serious. At least two reviewers specifically mentioned finding bed bugs in the bedding — one person had sensitive skin and ended up at a clinic the next morning. What makes it worse? Management's response was reportedly "there's nothing we can do." And this has been flagged in reviews for three years. That's not a bad night — that's a maintenance failure.
On top of that, one reviewer had a confirmed booking with a receipt showing no balance due, and was later asked to pay an extra RM90 out of nowhere. Lack of price transparency kept coming up — the water activities, the adult activities, all carry extra costs that aren't made obvious upfront.

The fire show seems to be the one consistent highlight across negative reviews — even people who had bad overall experiences mentioned it as the best part of the night. Small comfort, but worth knowing.
TAHAN Tip
If you do decide to book, call them directly at 013-347 8857 before confirming — ask specifically which tent number you'll be assigned and whether it's near the facilities. Don't just accept whatever they give you at check-in. And honestly? Bring your own sleeping bag liner or travel sheet. Given the bed bug reports, I wouldn't risk sleeping directly on their bedding.
